Techunite Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a highly successful and expanding company, for a Shipping Manager to oversee the daily management of all inbound and outbound shipping activities for assigned regions.

This role sits in the supply chain team and there is 1 direct report to look after. Based on site in Reading.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of all shipping activities including supplier performance and the team KPI鈥檚
  • Maintain both inbound and outbound carrier relationships
  • Manage assigned direct reports
  • Responsible for logistics cost management including cost control and budget setting
  • Management of shipping pricing in Salesforce.
  • Owner of shipping team process maps
  • Act as a stakeholder for any future Logistics projects including competitive tendering and system integration activities
  • Any other duties deemed necessary
