We are currently seeking a results-driven Supply Chain Manager to join our client's team and play a key role in optimizing their end-to-end supply chain operations.
The Role:
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. You will ensure that products are delivered on time, costs are controlled, and service levels meet or exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute supply chain strategies to support business goals and ensure a seamless flow of goods from suppliers to customers.
- Supplier Management: Build strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of quality goods.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels to maintain optimal inventory, minimizing waste and ensuring product availability.
- Logistics & Distribution: Oversee transportation and warehousing operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency of supply chain processes and implement improvements.
- Compliance: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with industry regulations, including food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
What We鈥檙e Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager in a food distribution or FMCG environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations (HACCP, BRC, etc.) and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a proven ability to build strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
