I am currently working with one of the Government bodies based in Reading area and they are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to come onboard and join their established team.
Brief about the role
The role:• This role sits within the Process and Performance Excellence Team.• It is looking at the Governance which supports the Procurements, rather than the Procurement itself.Main duties are:• Governance for procurements that are going through individual Public procurement regulations.• Stakeholder/Account management• Making sure stakeholders are aware of changes regarding governance.Top essential skills:• Governance experience• Stakeholder engagement (Internal and external)• Understanding Governance in the commercial sector/procurementsEssential:• Governance Experience• Stakeholder Management/Engagement - internal and external• SME• Understanding governance, commercial sector, procurements• Previously have implemented and managed a governance and compliance service for strategic procurements.• Experience of governance processes within a procurement or commercial environment• Experience working on complex and high value procurement projects.• Experience in delivering business change / continuous improvement programmes.• Information security and/or governance knowledge.• Multi-tasking• Effective communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills• Able to support a team.• Organising, planning, and effectively implementing projects and tasks.Desirable:• PCR 2015• CIPS Level 4Red FlagsNOT someone who can running procurements.
