This includes ensuring exceptional service delivery and upholding the highest treatment standards while promoting the brand culture and ethos to drive business success. The role involves a mix of hands-on treatments and administrative responsibilities, requiring both a commercial outlook and leadership experience within a salon environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the salon owner to oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and maintaining the highest standards of customer care and service.
- Perform a range of beauty treatments to a high standard, ensuring client satisfaction and promoting repeat business.
- Ensure the salon adheres to all safety and regulatory guidelines, including staff training in first aid, fire safety, and data protection.
- Manage, monitor, and evaluate staff performance through appraisals, team meetings, and professional development to enhance performance.
- Collaborate with the salon owner to review and set quarterly and annual budgets and targets, driving business growth and ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Oversee stock control, ensuring adequate levels are maintained, and generate financial and activity reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Support and contribute to internal and external promotional activities and marketing initiatives, manage appointment bookings and payments, and carry out general reception and administrative duties.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Beauty Therapist with NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent, including leadership experience.
- Proven Spa/Salon Management experience with strong problem-solving, decision-making, and independent working skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, and attend salon events outside regular hours.
