Job Title: Intervention Assistant
Location: Tilehurst
Salary: 83.50 - 90 per day (term time only, Mon-Fri)
About the Role
This position focuses on supporting Year 5 students in KS2 who need additional help with reading and social, emotional, and mental health needs. As an Intervention Assistant, you'll work mainly 1:1 with pupils, using tailored strategies to enhance their progress and monitoring their development closely. Building positive relationships with students is key to this role.
There has been a noticable decline in student SEMH, with increasing challenging behaviour. We need you to help them stay on a postive educational career, the decline has rocketed off the back of Covid-19.

Intervention Assistant Requirements
- Relevant experience in a SEND, PRU, care, or youth setting
- Passion for supporting KS2 Tilehurst learners, especially Year 5
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with MLD, ASD, SEMH, or ADHD
- Team Teach trained (prefered)
