Just Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking to recruit a MET Technician on behalf of our client, an approved Bodyshop based in Reading.

Up to £60k OTE

Key job areas of the MET Technician role:

  • Identifying damaged mechanical and electrical components on a vehicle
  • Repairing and replacing faulty mechanical/electrical parts and components
  • Removing and fitting non-structural body panels
  • Ensure all work carried out meets manufacturer requirements
  • Producing time estimates
  • Maintaining repair and service records

What we’re looking for in an MET Technician:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Light vehicle Repair or equivalent
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Willingness to work effectively within a team and ensure industry leading customer service
  • Strong communication skills to communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Flexible 'can do’ attitude
  • Ability to use own initiative and work under minimum supervision
