An Event / F&B Supervisor is required to join a well-established Victorian Mansion Country House hospitality venue based in the countryside near Reading.

About the Venue

Set in 34 acres of Berkshire countryside, this stunning events venue specialises in hosting weddings, private functions, and corporate events throughout the year. With a reputation for delivering high-quality service and exceptional guest experiences, the venue combines a grand country house setting with a large marquee and extensive grounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting up the marquee and other function areas before events
  • Preparing the on-site restaurant for breakfast service
  • Supervising service during events, including bar duties
  • Organising and maintaining the back-of-house areas
  • Cashing up and managing financial processes during events
  • Opening and closing the venue, ensuring security and readiness
  • Overseeing event management from start to finish
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service throughout
  • Ensuring all public and outdoor areas are clean and tidy
  • Assisting with general upkeep and preparation for future events

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality, events, or food and beverage supervision
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • A customer-first mindset with a professional and proactive attitude
  • Experience in opening/closing a venue and cashing up is preferred
