A leading name in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a DSAT Advisor on a contract basis to join their team. This role is pivotal in supporting the courseware and media development programme within the defence training framework.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team responsible for the analysis, design, maintenance, review, and production of Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) documentation and processes for various training sites and organisations.
  • Interview subject matter experts to gather necessary data and participate in internal workshops to discuss and confirm analysis findings.
  • Work with customers, their agents, and suppliers to identify and obtain technical data required for courseware and media development.
  • Assist courseware and media content developers in contextualising training and language, ensuring the correct conditions and standards are applied to the training solutions.
  • Conduct upkeep, updates, and revalidation of course technical data.
  • Identify opportunities to utilise existing training methods and media for better courseware development and delivery.
  • Champion and promote a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement.


Job Requirements:

  • Proven at-sea experience in a Warfare Department, such as Officer of the Watch (OOW), Petty Officer of the Watch (POOW), Optronics, Navigation, Buffer Plan Officer (BPO), Coxswain, Tactical Picture Supervisor, or Sonar Director duties, WESM TWS e.g. in a TWEO, DWEO or TWS Gp Chief/Head role.
