Sonic Summary

Two TIG Welders are needed for a 6-month assignment at AWE plc in Burghfield, requiring MoD security clearance (SC).
The role involves welding stainless steel pipework up to 8" on a multi-billion-pound nuclear new build project.
Candidates must pass a weld test and hold a CSCS card (blue or gold) or ECITB/CCNSG card with a CSCS logo.
Pay is £300 per day plus weekly expenses of £400 in the first week and £300 in the second week, with payments made weekly via CIS.
Relevant experience is required, and the role is expected to start as soon as possible.

TIG Welder x 2 with MoD security clearance. (SC)

Recruiter of 20 years, supplying blue and white collar workers to the Nuclear (MoD, NNB, operational & decommissioning) and Petro Chem sectors.

Starting ASAP.

6 months assignment. Payment weekly and via CIS.

Details:

Role: TIG welder at AWE plc, Burghfield (Nuclear MoD site)
Scope: Welding stainless steel pipework up to 8" on a Shed 80 project, part of a multi-billion-pound nuclear new build.
Quality Control: Since its a nuclear QC1 classified project, all welds must subject to NDT.
Test: Candidates will need to pass a weld test (Burghfield, Berkshire or Bristol)

Payment: (CIS & weekly)

Week 1: Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., finish early on Fridays.
Pay is £300/day + £400/week in expenses.
Week 2: Monday to Thursday, same hours, finish early on Thursdays.
Pay is £300/day + £300/week in expenses.

Must hold relevant experience and a CSCS card (blue or gold) or ECITB/CCNSG card (with CSCS logo) to support your application.

IPAF and or PASMA preferred but not essential.
Due to the urgent need to fill this role you must hold an MoD 'SC' security clearance.
