CK Group are recruiting for a Scientific Administrator, to join a global leading food brand company, at their site based in Reading, on a contract basis for 6months.


Salary:

12.93 per hour PAYE.


Scientific Administrator Role:
  • Ensure samples are logged into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure the efficient throughput of samples in CSA from receipt to laboratory.
  • Work to the highest standards of safety and quality by ensuring that appropriate COSHHs, risk assessments and SOPs are understood and followed.
  • Sample pot labelling and quotations, sub-sampling of supplied samples (if required).
  • Liaise with customers to ensure correct information is available. Ensure customer satisfaction by acting as an interface with customers and deliver excellent customer service.

Your Background:
  • Understand and work to the requirements of GMP and UKAS or Home Office regulations as required.
  • Educated to A-level / HNC level (or equivalent) and / or have appropriate industry experience to be able to fulfil role requirements.
  • Administrative working experience.
  • Computer literate in standard MS office applications.
  • Experience in a GMP environment strongly preferred.
