Due to the growth and development of our clients fabrication business, we are seeking a Project Manager to work within the Fabrication team based in our clients South Yorkshire office.

As the Project manager you will ensure that the fabrication team is well informed regarding contract parameters and possesses the necessary resources to meet objectives. In order to do so, this position requires fostering strong relationships with all stakeholders and delivering all projects on time.

The Role:

As a Project Manager in our Fabrication team, you will be a key player in steering the successful delivery of contracts. This position requires fostering strong relationships with all stakeholders and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Your Responsibilities:

Manage projects through all phases, from pre-qualification and tendering to completion.
Oversee all project aspects, keeping the team informed of contract parameters.
Set project deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress.
Ensure compliance with legislation, contract terms, health and safety, quality, and environmental plans.
Deliver contracts on time and within budget, managing subcontract resources efficiently.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and best practices.
Monitor project progress and manage contract changes effectively.
Elevate unresolved issues to the Contracts Director.
Proactively promote company capabilities to clients.
Assist in the recruitment and development of workshop technicians.
Collaborate closely with Design, Engineering, and shop floor teams while working autonomously.

Candidates will ideally be experienced as a Project Manager in steelwork and structural installation. You will hold a HNC/HND or above in a related field.
