Project Manager

Position overview:The Project Manager is part of the Project Delivery Team to manage the projects within the projects team. The role holder will be responsible for the successful delivery of each element ensuring all are completed on time, within budget and to a high standard in a safe manner.
Key responsibilities:To manage project development and execution including: • Positively encourage a culture of safety first.• Determine and define project scope and objectives.• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.• Track project costs in order to meet budget.• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.• Utilise industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.• Manage risks to avoid delays or reputational damage.• Determine and define project scope and objectives.• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.• Track project costs in order to meet budget.• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
Essential• Experience in power/utilities/petrochemical/oil&gas industries• Strong communication including writing reports, contractual correspondences, etc.• Excellent Negotiation Skills• Understanding engineering principles• Possesses superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines.• Methodological approach• High Attention to detail• Strong Problem solving• Leadership• Work as part of a team and individually
Desirable• Bachelor's degree in any of the following engineering disciplines process/chemical/mechanical/piping/electrical.• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
