Nursery Practitioner- Guisborough

Prospero Teaching are working with a Nursery in Guisborough who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering a range of stimulating and age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
  • Creating a safe, secure and nurturing environment for children to grow and learn in
  • Building positive and supportive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
  • Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development
  • Promoting independence and self-esteem through positive reinforcement and praise
  • Supporting children's physical development through outdoor play and physical activities
  • Maintaining accurate records of children's progress and achievements
  • Contributing to the overall running and management of the nursery

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent
  • Proven experience working in a nursery setting with children aged 0-5 years
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and current legislation and guidance relating to childcare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for working with children and promoting learning and development
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and education to children
