Job Opportunity: Chargehand (Redcar Depot)
An excellent and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Chargehand to join a leading transport company at their Redcar Depot.
What We Offer:
- Hours: 39 hours per week
- Shifts: 5 out of 7 days, with 2 weekends off per month
- Pay Rate: £19.03 per hour with double time for overtime
- Contract: Permanent, full-time

Role Responsibilities:
- Service, maintenance, and repairs to company and DVSA standards
- Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability
- MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance, and quality checks
- Vehicle fault diagnosis to ensure maintenance exceeds company standards
Requirements:
- Level 3 NVQ/IRTEC Qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience in PSV or HGV maintenance
- Understanding of engineering procedures and Health & Safety legislation
- Desirable but not essential: Vehicle inspection experience and electrical systems knowledge
- Full UK driving license (6 points or less)
- Ability to pass a PCV pre-employment medical
