- Manage of all deliveries and collections, including undertaking of receipt of products, stock control, and weighbridge operations, whilst ensuring contractors adhere to Fuel Handling area induction
- Manage fuel inventory process
- Competent to operate all mobile plant
- Ensure chipping is maximised.
- Undertake product sampling and timely preparation for analysis.
- Quality control and inspection of fuel supplies, validated against specifications
- Compliance to all related company procedures.
- Compliance to company safe systems of work.
- Assist Operation team as required
- Reporting any areas of concern and be proactive in offering solutions.
- Carrying out routine and first-line maintenance as required
- Troubleshooting any production disturbances that may occur
- Communications all situations that present serious or imminent risk
- Make visual checks on all Fuel Handling equipment and take actions to rectify through CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System).
- Completing all necessary consumable and waste management tasks and administration.
- Isolate, prepare and recommission plant equipment before and after maintenance.
- Train new operators as required
- Demonstrate complete ownership of the Plant undertaking housekeeping duties and audits
- Conduct safety tours/site visits and report findings through the Safety Management System
- Produce a detailed shift log and carry out a detailed and effective handover
- Ensure all aspects of the Learning Management System including assigned objectives are completed within the relevant timescales
