A skilled Process Control Engineer / Systems Engineer is wanted to join a leading employer on Teesside.
You'll play a vital role at the heart of the business, providing critical support & optimising cutting-edge processes across a multi-site operation. You'll be involved in major projects, including CAPEX, ensuring seamless integration of new technologies, while also tackling day-to-day process control requirements.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Education: An engineering degree (or equivalent) in Process Control, Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation.
- Experience: Proven experience in industrial engineering, with a strong understanding of PLC programming, SCADA fault finding and AC/DC drives.
- Passion: A genuine interest in engineering and a drive to make a difference.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Implementing CAPEX projects and developing systems across both sites, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Optimising process control systems and networks, ensuring seamless communication with business-level IT systems.
- Providing expert support to plant maintenance teams, resolving PLC and SCADA issues
- Delivering specified projects on time and within budget
- Identifying and implementing process improvement activities, pushing the boundaries of performance.
- Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to ensure the smooth introduction of new equipment and technologies.
- Developing and delivering training packages for assigned projects, sharing your expertise with the team.
