Y5-6 Teacher, TS10 area - Part Time

Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5/6 Supply Teacher to work part-time in a friendly and welcoming primary school in the Redcar TS10 area. This role is perfect for teachers who enjoy flexibility and are passionate about making a positive impact on children’s education.

You will be working with Year 5/6 students 2-3 days a week, starting after the October half-term break and continuing through to Christmas, at which point the position will be reviewed with the potential to extend further.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 5/6 curriculum.
• Provide high-quality teaching and ensure progress for all pupils.
• Work collaboratively with the school staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, in accordance with school policies.
• Support the individual needs of students, ensuring their academic and personal development.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5 or Year 6.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive approach to teaching.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
