For the fast-paced Battery Energy Storage scheme as a Delivery Lead, youll be integral to our operational team, contributing to every phase from design to construction, commissioning, and handover. You will lead a section of this project that will enhance our position in the Energy sector, and lead to future opportunities on BESS and Contestable Works for National Grid
The role of a Delivery Lead includes:
- Working collaboratively with the design and commercial teams to enhance delivery efficiency and promote opportunities while managing risk
- Managing the site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the quality required by the client
- Involvement with site level procurement, subcontractor logistics and H&S reporting
- Informing the client about project progress and addressing any concerns
- Acting as a Temporary Works Coordinator, overseeing the installation of temporary works to ensure compliance with design specifications.
What youll need:
- CSCS, SSSTS/ SMSTS
- HNC / Degree in Electrical, Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Understand engineering principles and practices
- Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region
