We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to work on a Contract basis to supply Senior Project Management expertise to our client, a leading design and build conractor.

This role will see the delivery of a critical infrastructure project as part of a wider £4bn decarobisation project. It is an opportunity to work on a pioneering project that will contribute to the UK's net zero ambitions.

This role involves managing the 275kV HV supply, coordinating Extra High Voltage (EHV) and National Grid-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the programme-critical package of works, ensuring project objectives are met on time and within budget.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project integration and alignment with the overall NZT goals.
Manage all aspects of project governance, including risk management, quality control, and compliance with safety standards.
Oversee the coordination of Extra High Voltage (EHV) and National Grid-related activities, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and financial forecasts.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, with a focus on delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.
Extensive knowledge of Extra High Voltage (EHV) systems and National Grid operations.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a track record of successfully navigating complex project challenges.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of quality and safety.
Relevant qualifications in engineering, project management, or a related field.
