Jackson Hogg is exclusively supporting a well-known and established manufacturer in the region supplying to a varied client portfolio nationally and globally. We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to join the team who can support and manage our maintenance processes and systems across the site.
Supporting the existing management team, this role is key in ensuring the successful delivery of the Site Engineering and Maintenance strategy. This role will manage all aspects of the maintenance function such as:
- Health and Safety
- Parts and Equipment supply and ordering
- TPM/PPM Scheduling
- External Contractors
- CAPEX Projects
- Relevant documentation and paperwork
- Computer based Maintenance Management Systems / SAP
This is an office based, systems management role where an understanding of maintenance functions and processes is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience of Maintenance Planning systems and processes such as and/or including SAP systems. A background in Maintenance is advantageous but not exclusive as someone from a Projects, Manufacturing, Design or even IT would fit well into this role.
The ideal candidate will be conversant with SAP and Planning systems and have demonstrable experience within a manufacturing environment. Technical background and bias are open. Evidence of further education such as an HNC/HND is highly desirable and experience within a supervisory type of role would be desirable but not essential (a lead, senior or supervisor remit or responsibilities). While this is office based, a hands on approach and background in maintenance would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience with CBMM systems, specifically SAP would be beneficial.
- Previous experience of maintenance legislative requirements such as PUWER regs, LOLER regs beneficial.
- A skilled based background would be great. Previous maintenance tech for example, but not essential.
