GSL Education is looking for a talented Science Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Redcar.

As a Science Teacher, you’ll be responsible for delivering exciting lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5. You’ll bring Science to life through practical experiments, real-world examples, and your enthusiasm for the subject. The school offers a supportive department with great resources, committed to providing excellent teaching and learning experiences.

Responsibilities of a Science Teacher:

  • Teach engaging Science lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential in Science.
  • Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Contribute to the development of the department and the wider school community.

Requirements to be a Science Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Science.
  • Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 level.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring students.
  • An up-to-date CV and an enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
