Job Title: Secondary Teaching Assistant

Salary: £87 - £108 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistant (TA) to support our client schools in Redcar. Role Overview:
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with teachers to provide additional support to students across various subjects. Your role will include fostering a positive learning environment, assisting with lesson delivery, and supporting students' academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support to teachers by assisting with lesson preparation and delivery.
- Support students individually or in small groups to enhance learning and understanding.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment to help students thrive.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Assist with behaviour management and encourage positive interactions among students.
- Promote the school’s ethos and values both in and out of the classroom.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with secondary school students is desirable.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people’s development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to varying learning needs and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for a new one through GSL Education.
