  • MTrec are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Redcar area.

The Job You’ll Do;

  • Working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Working on various sewing machines including flatbeds and overlockers
  • Manually picking materials from stores
  • Working with various materials and fabrics
  • Colour matching threads and ribbon
  • Replacing bobbins and keeping machine maintained
  • Wrapping completed products in to packaging ready for dispatch
  • Completing visual quality inspection and completing quality assurance paper work
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
  • General housekeeping duties and following specific standard operations and being able to adhere to social distancing is required

About You;

  • Experience working as a sewing machinist
  • Methodical with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Good communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to motivate the team to meet KPIs.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • A good accuracy level is essential.
  • Good numeracy and literacy.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team as required.
