Supervising Social Worker - Fostering TeamRedcar and Cleveland, UK£20 - £27 per hour
About the Role:This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive team, contributing to the lives of children and foster families in the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting and supervising foster carers to ensure the best outcomes for children in care.
- Conducting regular home visits, assessments, and reviews to monitor progress and compliance.
- Providing training and guidance to foster carers to enhance their skills and confidence.
- Collaborating with other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of children placed in care.
- Preparing reports and maintaining accurate records in line with legal and organizational standards.
- Participating in recruitment and assessment processes for prospective foster carers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Essential: Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in fostering, child protection, or a related social work role.
- Strong understanding of fostering regulations, policies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
