Audit Semi Senior Job Vacancy

Are you a foundation level accountant with a minimum of two years experience in UK practice and ideally your AAT level 2 or 3? Perhaps you’re studying towards your ACCA/ACA or you’re ready to start?

The successful candidate will become part of a committed and service driven audit team working in the office and on field based assignments. You’ll be a great communicator, have a keen eye for detail and you’ll be excited to progress in your chosen specialty of audit.

Job Purpose
  • Support the delivery of audit assignments from planning to completion, working closely with senior team members.
  • On-site field work.
  • Preparation of reports to be presented by Directors during client meetings.
  • Support junior staff by reviewing work and overseeing workflow.
  • Liaise directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries.
  • Work to client expectations, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Promote services to existing and prospective clients.
  • Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team.
  • Supporting the wider firm with ad hoc duties as needed.

The Successful Applicant
  • AAT level 2 or 3 or equivalent is desirable, ACCA or ACA finalist or studying, with previous audit experience within practice preferred.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Sound IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated and reliable who is eager to progress
  • A strong work ethic, time management and organisational skills
  • Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team
  • Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail
  • Able to work confidently with senior team members
  • Passionate about supporting a wide variety of clients
