SALES LEDGER CONTROLLER - 25-28Kpa - REDDITCH - PERM

The Sales Ledger Controller will be a key member of the finance function. Playing a vital role within the sales ledger cycle. You will report into the Group Financial Controller. My client prides itself on developing and progressing employees to thier full potential

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Calculate weekly manual storage charges.

  • Raise weekly sales invoices and credit notes.

  • Raise monthly sales invoices and credit notes.

  • Ensuring all charges are captured and invoiced accurately and to agreed timescales. To include as necessary all companies within the group.

  • Manage more complex customer billing relationships.

  • Manage Open Book contracts and calculate all recharges.

  • Assist with the set-up of new customer accounts.

  • Weekly checks and reconciliation to ensure that all sales invoices are processed and complete.

  • To work closely with the other members of the Sales Ledger team (Sales Ledger Controller and Credit Controller).

  • Update daily banking transactions in the absence of the Credit Controller.

  • Assist in resolving ad-hoc queries from customers or other stakeholders. Liaising with other Finance team members and other team members from across the wider business.

  • Support the rest of the finance team helping to alleviate transactional queries and provide cover for holiday or absence.

  • Support key stakeholders in any finance related ad hoc projects required by the business.
