Housing Programme Support Officer

Hourly rate: £14.17

Working hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm

Location: Crossgate House Redditch B98 7SN

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Redditch Borough Council for a Programme Support Officer to provide technical, administrative and database support to the Housing Propery Service team and repairs and maintenance manager.

This is an office-based role for an initial 3 month contract, with opportunity for extension.

Main responsibilities:

  • Undertake financial management processes including purchase orders and invoices
  • Dealing with enquires via telephone and email
  • Understanding customer requests and interpret this to raise a work order
  • Liaise with approved contractors and manage engineer's work
  • Maintain manual and computer records within the housing property service department and ensure the Council is compliant with regulations
  • Preparing correspondence and collate papers and reports
  • Assisting management with projects and service delivery
  • Distribute incoming mail and arrange delivery of outgoing mail
