What You'll Do:
- Define, specify, and implement quality standards and procedures for manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical advice to cross-functional teams on process improvement projects.
- Offer guidance to less experienced engineers.
- Complete Quality Engineering assignments with minimal supervision.
- Develop and implement corrective actions.
- Host source inspectors and customer auditors as needed.
- Prepare and present materials to customer representatives or facility employees.
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Formulate and implement quality assurance procedures, policies, and standards.
Qualifications:
- HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the aerospace industry.
Skills:
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and requirements.
- Knowledge of machining, assembly operations, gauging, SPC, APQP, and quality assurance systems (ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Experience performing quality audits.
- Familiarity with MS Office software and PC configuration using MS Windows OS.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Certified Quality Manager (CQMgr) is preferred.
