What You'll Do:

  • Define, specify, and implement quality standards and procedures for manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical advice to cross-functional teams on process improvement projects.
  • Offer guidance to less experienced engineers.
  • Complete Quality Engineering assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions.
  • Host source inspectors and customer auditors as needed.
  • Prepare and present materials to customer representatives or facility employees.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers and suppliers.
  • Formulate and implement quality assurance procedures, policies, and standards.

Qualifications:

  • HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the aerospace industry.

Skills:

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and requirements.
  • Knowledge of machining, assembly operations, gauging, SPC, APQP, and quality assurance systems (ISO 9001, AS9100).
  • Experience performing quality audits.
  • Familiarity with MS Office software and PC configuration using MS Windows OS.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Certified Quality Manager (CQMgr) is preferred.
