Our client, a global leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team in Redditch. This is a permanent role where you will be part of a team committed to delivering high-quality, energy-efficient solutions, enhancing the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of manufacturing processes around the world.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, specify, and implement quality standards and procedures for manufacturing processes
  • Provide technical advice and counsel to cross-functional teams assigned to process improvement projects
  • Offer technical guidance to less experienced engineers
  • Complete Quality Engineering assignments with minimal supervision
  • Develop and implement corrective actions
  • Host Source inspectors and/or Customer Auditors as needed
  • Prepare and present material to customer representatives and/or facility employees as required
  • Provide technical support to both internal and external customers and suppliers as needed
  • Formulate and implement quality assurance procedures, policies, and standards


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in manufacturing processes, preferably within the aerospace industry
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and requirements
  • Knowledge of machining, assembly operations, gauging, SPC, APQP, and quality assurance systems (ISO 9001, AS9100)
  • Experience in performing Quality Audits
  • Proficiency in using MS Windows OS and familiarity with MS Office software
  • Project Management experience is preferred
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Certified Quality Manager (CQMgr) is preferred
