Right Now Group are working with a Medium-sized Freight Forwarder based in the Birmingham Area, assisting them in their search for a Freight Sales Executive, focused on the sales of all modes of Freight (Air/Sea/Road/Warehouse Storage).The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Freight Sales, and have experience dealing with all modes of Transport. Responsibilities of a Freight Sales Executive:

  • Driving growth of the business through the sales of AMCO products, services & offerings to new customers
  • Generating new leads and maintaining a healthy pipeline
  • Effectively communicate with potential new customers to drive both continued revenue, profit growth and increased engagement
  • A proven ability to put the customer's requirements at the heart of what we do, striving to deliver high quality customer service at all times
  • Build and maintain strong and long-lasting relationships with customers and suppliers, quickly addressing their needs and ensuring any issues and challenges are resolved swiftly
  • Communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of organisations
  • Negotiating and finalizing contracts with prospective customers
  • Visiting customer/potential customers to promote the company services
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing campaigns
  • Understanding and promoting the company strategy

Requirements of a Freight Sales Executive:

  • Proven and successful track record of B2B sales and business development in the logistics/freight industry
  • Demonstrable achievements in a similar role within the logistics market
  • Experience working within a fast-paced sales environment
  • Ability to maintain an entrepreneurial approach
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Salary: up to £45,000Location: Birmingham Area (2 days per week)Shift: 1/2 days in the office per week. Mon-Fri 8.30am - 5.30pmALL RELEVANT CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED ASAP
