Our client, is seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Civil Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working on wastewater projects, specifically Severn Trent projects, with a blend of office (Redditch, Midlands) and remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the design and development of civil engineering solutions for wastewater projects
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering designs
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Providing expert advice and technical guidance to junior engineers and project teams
- Maintaining project documentation and preparing detailed reports
- Conducting site inspections and assessments as required
- Participating in client meetings and presentations
- Overseeing project timelines and managing resource allocation
Job Requirements:
- Experience in civil design engineering, specifically within the water sector
- Proficiency in designing solutions for wastewater treatment projects
- Understanding of non-infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of relevant engineering software and tools
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Eligibility to work inside IR35 compliance
