CNC Setter / Operator / Programmer required to join a well-established Manufacturer based in the Redditch area. The successful candidate will be assisting with setting, operating and some programming of CNC lathes & mills, whilst ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
CNC Setter / Operator / Programmer Position Overview
- Set up and operate CNC Lathes and Milling machines
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
- Select and install appropriate tooling for each job, considering material specifications and machining requirements.
- Develop and modify CNC programs as needed to optimize machining processes.
- Conduct in-process inspections to ensure the dimensional accuracy and quality of machined parts.
- Continuously monitor and optimize machining processes for efficiency and productivity.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
CNC Setter / Operator / Programmer Position Requirements
- Programming, setting and operating experience is highly advantageous (however they are willing to train someone that has some machining / turning experience is willing to learn)
- Hurco controls / machinery experience is also highly advantageous
- Must live within a commutable distance of Redditch
CNC Setter / Operator / Programmer Position Remuneration
- 13 - 16 per hour - depending on experience
- Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 17:00pm, Friday 07:00 to 13:00.
- Full time - Permanent position
- Holiday allowance & pension
