The Role

This dynamic role involves interacting with customers regarding Council Tax arrears, Penalty Charge Notices, and other financial obligations. With a structured training program and supportive environment, you'll develop the skills to handle a variety of customer situations professionally and empathetically. There are full-time and part-time roles available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling inbound and occasional outbound calls regarding outstanding payments.
  • Completing basic affordability checks and negotiating payment arrangements.
  • Identifying vulnerable customers and providing them with appropriate support and guidance.
  • Updating account details and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Utilizing live chat for customer communication as needed.

The Candidate

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service or contact centres.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A friendly, empathetic approach, even in challenging situations.
  • Strong negotiation skills to deliver outcomes that meet client and company requirements.
  • Proficiency with technology and office administration tasks.
