Overview:
An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bench Hand to join a thriving manufacturing company based in Redditch. This role will be a key part of the Machining Division, where the successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-precision parts for large aerospace customers across the UK.

Scope and Responsibilities:
  • Primary responsibility for deburring machined components from CNC machines.
  • Assist in other areas of the production process as required.
  • Use a range of hand tools such as grinders, sanding discs, sanding wheels, and stones to complete tasks.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Understand the importance of 'Right First Time' quality assurance.
  • Read and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Be flexible with overtime and working in other areas when required.
  • Willingness to work across different shift patterns.
Experience and Skills Required:
  • Proven experience using hand tools such as grinders, sanders, and drill-mounted grinding wheels.
  • Milling, grinding, or CNC experience would be an advantage.
  • Strong hand-to-eye coordination and a keen eye for detail.
  • Previous experience with hand deburring tools is essential.
