Colmore Education are currently looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant at a special needs school in Redditch. The school teaches children with physical needs, severe learning difficulties, multiple learning difficulties, visual and hearing impairment. Some children will have complex medical conditions and sensory level autism.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you must:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Be patient as the special needs will vary
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Previous experience working with children who have SEND especially PMLD
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Have a calm and caring nature
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Understand supporting SEND children
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Have team teach training
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Be prepared to do personal care
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Have a recognised qualification level 2 or above
Required skills and experience:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Ideally have team teach training
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience teaching within a SEND school
