Electrician

This Manufacturer of electrical products wishes to appoint an Electrician to support their business.

The role has limited hands on elements with the main responsibilities being to support manufacturing colleagues who work in the build and test areas with electrical expertise such as checking and approving build configurations, checking that work is done to the latest electrical standards and providing support to customers (primarily installation advice) via the phone and email.

The role is site based and will encompass a wide range of responsibilities and it is viewed as a senior role reporting directly to the leadership.

Our ideal candidate will be an electrician who has a stable career history, is good with people and is a team player with an eye for detail who has certification in any of the following 2365, 2391,2382 or 2377. Ideally 18th edition.

A manufacturing background isn't a requirement and the role may suit someone who has worked in the trade who would like to move to a mainly office based role to develop their career.

Our client will provide extensive training in their product range and on all facets of their manufacturing operation the successful candidate will follow and support the journey of customer projects from checking the product build specification at quotation through to final test and inspection supporting colleagues in both the manufacturing and commercial sides of the business with technical know how to ensure customer satisfaction.

The hours of work are 0800-1730 Monday to Friday.
