A Commercial Finance Analyst is required to perform financial analysis and data-driven decision making to help drive business strategy and performance. This role is based in Redditch and seeks a team member who can effectively analyse financial data and provide insightful information.

Description
- Analyse financial performance and contribute to the formulation of strategic and long-term business plans
- Support on month end, providing variance analysis against each cost line and partnering with stakeholders to ensure that cost lines are accurate and complete
- Provide analysis specifically in relation to the quantification of any risk and opportunities across all cost lines within the department
- Support on the budgeting and reforecasting processes during the annual business cycle for all relevant cost lines
- Provide accurate, timely and insightful information to the relevant departments including relevant KPI analysis
- Work collaboratively across the wider teams providing ad hoc support as required to support overall team objective delivery
- Ad hoc analysis and support for both the Business Partner and the Head of Finance.
Profile
A successful Commercial Finance Analyst should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Studying towards or intention to study towards either CIMA or ACCA or equivalent
- Strong computer skills essential, especially Microsoft Excel
- Comfortable being able to handle large quantities of data and analyse data to inform commercial decision making
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Curious attitude and confident self-starter, with desire to continuously develop self and drive business forward
- Embraces a team-focused approach to drive collaboration, cross-functional learning and deliver success as a team
- Ability to build and develop good working relationships with key stakeholders
- Willingness and enthusiasm to progress and succeed within the business
