About Our Client:Our client, a well-established company in the financial sector, is seeking a Finance Analyst with expertise in financial analysis and management accounts. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to play a key role in supporting business strategy through data-driven insights and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review management accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis.

  • Conduct variance analysis, identifying trends and areas for cost optimisation.

  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

  • Develop and refine financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.

  • Work closely with senior management to provide financial analysis and recommendations for business growth.

  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting areas for improvement.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy for stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial planning and control processes.

  • Support the implementation of cost control initiatives, ensuring efficiency and profitability.

  • Provide financial insights to support the evaluation of new business opportunities and investments.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Fully or part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent experience.

  • Strong background in financial analysis, management accounts, and reporting.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to stakeholders.

  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.

  • Experience in financial services or a similar industry is highly desirable.
