Management Accounts:
- Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to the managing director. (Profit and loss balance sheets, cash flow forecasts and weekly updates)
- Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to drive growth.
- Develop a strong system of internal financial control.
Assets:
- Organise financial contracts
- Manage Insurance renewals and claims.
Commercial:
- Partner with internal functions & business units, providing financial guidance and support. (Costings, Retention, Aged debt)
- Identify areas for cost efficiencies and commercial opportunities.
General Finance:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial and business goals.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls.
- Develop & Mentor Junior Accounts Manager overseeing VAT & Payroll.
- Reconcile monthly HMRC & Pension payments.
- Other ad-hoc profit and loss related duties.
- CITB annual payments.
- Ad-hoc government reporting.
ü Professional accounting qualification ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
ü Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field - Desirable
ü Proven track record of managing finance operations in settings with revenues of £100m plus.
ü Hold specific knowledge of the Construction & Housebuilding industry.
ü GDPR competent.
ü Proficient with MS office software (Word, Excel).
