A strong Manufacturing business with the Midlands is looking for a Finance Manager to join their expanding finance team. This role will be reporting into the Financial Controller, and as Finance Manager will take ownership of financial reporting, strategic planning, and business partnering to drive commercial performance. This role is ideal for a proactive and results-driven finance professional looking to lead and develop a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

  • Provide strategic financial insights and analysis to senior stakeholders to support decision-making.

  • Work closely with operational teams to drive cost efficiencies and profitability.

  • Manage financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

  • Lead and develop a team of accountants, providing mentorship and career progression opportunities.

  • Support the Financial Controller with balance sheet reconciliations, financial modelling, and process improvements.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes and reporting.

Key Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.

  • Proven track record in financial management, reporting, and strategic planning.

  • Excellent commercial acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
