Key Tasks
• Understanding all customer requirements
• Ensure customers and suppliers are communicated with in a timely manner
• Booking jobs onto the internal transport systems
• Booking transport to and from Europe/further overseas
• Submitting export declarations and sending clearance instructions for imports
• Checking all customer paperwork is correct prior to booking
• Organising shipments from start to finish
• Raising quotations to new and existing customers and colleagues
Required Skills
• Proactive personality and team player
• Strong communication skills
• Answering phone and emails in a professional manner
• Attention to detail
• Good understanding of Inco terms and customs clearance
• Minimum of 12 Months experience in a similar role
• Experience in a freight forwarding role
