An exciting opportunity for a Design Team Leader to work with the Technical

Team

Reporting to the Design Manager, the main purpose of the Design Team Leader would be to lead the Design team, who are a key fundamental part of our business. CAD Experience essential to Design Drawings - Zone plans - Specifications.

The Design Team Leader is a hands-on role within the team, the ideal candidate would be someone who is experienced in construction techniques and BS standards with in depth knowledge of electrical, fire and security applications.

Main duties

We are looking for someone that has previous experience of working as a Design Team Leader that has extensive knowledge and experience of working within Electrical industry, with a focused attention to detail including knowledge of UK&I Current Building, BS and EN standards as appropriate

? Ability to demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines.

? Excellent all-round communication skills

? Ability to prioritise and Lead the Design Team on projects and timeframes.

? Excellent all-round communication.

? Knowledge of BS/BS EN standards and other local / regional regulatory requirements o Construction methods including modern construction methods

? Enthusiastic, flexible attitude

? Ability to work well under pressure & tight deadlines

? Experience of using CAD

? Ability to understand technical specifications and drawings

? System design and installation experience

? Excellent customer service focus

? Knowledge of BS 7671

? Knowledge of BS 5839 1 & 6

? Excellent level of PC literacy (MS / CAD / PDF packages etc)
