Job Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and results-oriented Fabrication Sales Account Manager to join a Dynamic Team in Redditch. The successful candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of fabrication processes. This role involves managing key client accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Primary Responsibilities of a Sales Account Manager:
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the fabrication sector, ensuring high levels of customer loyalty and satisfaction.
- Sales Growth: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned markets and accounts to drive revenue expansion.
- Client Engagement: Consult with clients to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and recommend relevant fabrication services and products.
- Proposal Development: Create and present persuasive sales proposals and presentations to both new and existing clients.
- Collaboration: Partner with engineering, production, and project management teams to ensure client requirements are met and exceeded.
- Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and market demands to inform strategic sales initiatives.
- Sales Reporting: Monitor and analyze account performance, providing regular updates to management and adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Negotiation: Lead pricing, contract, and terms negotiations with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Customer Support: Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, addressing issues quickly and effectively.
- Visiting Clients: Approx 7 days of the Month spent attending site visits with current and prospective Clients
Skills & Qualifications of a Sales Account Manager:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sales within the fabrication or manufacturing sector, with a focus on account management.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and industry standards.
- Sales Skills: Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue.
- Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and sustain relationships at all levels of client organizations.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Analytical Abilities: Proficient in data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects concurrently, while meeting deadlines.
- Travel: Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
