Key responsibilities of the Operations Controller:
- Serve as a strategic partner to the Plant Finance and Management team, ensuring the plant's financial objectives are met.
- Lead all corporate and internal financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
- Oversee month-end processes, including variance analysis, and provide comprehensive plant performance reports
- Prepare and present budgets, forecasts, and other financial plans to senior management.
- Drive improvements in key KPIs such as Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, while ensuring the efficient operation of financial controls.
- Collaborate with external auditors on year-end and interim audits
- Develop the skills of direct reports, supporting their personal and professional growth.
Key skills and qualifications:
- Fully Qualified Accountant
