Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader and Care and Support Workers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing person-centered care and support to our residents, as well as leading and supervising a team of care and support workers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a care or support role, preferably with adults with learning disabilities
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate and patient nature
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
  • Lead and supervise a team of care and support workers, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Create and maintain care plans for each resident, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated
  • Administer medication in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Promote independence and encourage residents to participate in activities and hobbies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Attend training and development courses as required
  • Any other duties as assigned by the management team.
