Due to an internal promotion, we are recruiting for a Health & Safety Administrator to join a Health & Safety team to support them in that department in Redditch. They are a growing business and are looking for someone who is hard working and enthusiastic to come in and learn more about their business and thrive within it. This is a busy varied Administrator role where you will be involved in all aspects of the admin support within the Health & Safety department. This is a full time HYBRID role 3 days a week in the office at Redditch.As a Health & Safety Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting in the creation of a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.Health & Safety Administrator Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide admin support and assistance including collating , maintaining and providing written reports for health & safety performance.
  • Ensure that all necessary records, reports, and certifications are up-to-date and compliant with local regulations.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of safety programs and recommend improvements.
  • Support the organization in providing competent and expert advice to colleagues when called upon.
  • Play an active role in the production and distribution of training materials ( training certificates, packages, standard manuals and safety pack)
  • Maintain accurate health and safety documentation and records.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and industry best practices.
The successful Health & Safety Administrator will have the following skills and experience:
  • Within a health and safety role or strong administration experience
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritise and work to strict deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
