We are looking for one Engineer, based in South-East Birmingham region, to help us maintain and provide effective customer service, nationwide. This role will involve a significant amount of driving.
Job Purpose
Our Client is looking forCCTV Engineers form an integral part of the CCTV Department.
Assisting us with on-site installations and repairs for systems installed at customer sites, as well as assisting us in continued customer service and operational delivery

Principle Duties & Accountabilities
The specific accountabilities of this flexible role may alter from time to time to meet the needs of the company, but accountabilities will include (or be equivalent in nature to) those listed below:
- To carry out a range of tasks on various sites such as installing, servicing, and maintaining various makes and models of CCTV (Dahua/Hikvision)
- Complete occasional site surveys for office quotations
- To comply with specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements requirements for construction activities, completed on time and accurately
- To adhere to Company Policies, Codes of Practice and carry out the work in a safe and effective manner
- To liaise with customers at site level effectively and promote customer satisfaction
- Attend weekly/monthly team briefings as required
- Co-operate with management and ensure all works are carried out to a high-quality
- Wear all PPE as required by company procedure
- Report any hazards, near misses, accidents, incidents as soon as possible to the CCTV technical manager
- Conduct daily vehicle checks
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping
- To carry out any other duties appropriate for this post
Role Demands
The role may require working antisocial hours, long travel nationwide and on occasion, staying away from home.
Level of Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Have a valid ECS or CSCS card to work on construction sites
- Strong experience of installing and maintaining IP CCTV systems
- Good knowledge in the installations and maintenance of Networking Systems
- Clean UK drivers licence
Desirable
- Previous experience working on construction sites
- Knowledge of Dahua cameras and ANPR
- PASMA, telehandler or forklift licence
- Knowledge of access control (Paxton)/wireless alarms/timelapse
- Training can be provided for any areas that require it
