Key Responsibilities:Â
- Scheduling the supply of raw materials and/or packaging to meet production requirements.
- Reviewing volume requirements against short term and long-term customer forecasts.
- Liaising with key suppliers, building an effective partnership.
- Ensuring inbound deliveries are met on time and in full
- Taking appropriate actions to minimise production shortages
- Raising purchase orders to ensure on time delivery is achieved by external suppliers.
- Management of all inventories to the agreed stock levels
- Working closely with different chain teams to understand and execute customer requirements.
- To provide appropriate planning cover in line with departmental holiday schedules.
- Maintaining agreed stock levels in a cost-effective manner, measured by value of P&L inventory used and held on a weekly/monthly basis
- Ensuring stock is available to meet production requirements, avoiding downtime and customer shortages, measured by daily/weekly downtime in production/customer OTIF service levels.
 Ideal candidate will have:
- Good communication skills, both verbally and written
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to form and maintain fantastic relations internally and externally
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and IT Literate
- Able to provide excellent levels of service to internal and external customers
