The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, ensuring efficient workflow, and optimising resource allocation to meet production targets. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain processes and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to enhance overall productivity.Duties
  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
  • Monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Utilise SAP systems for tracking production progress and managing inventory levels effectively.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet established standards before distribution.
  • Liaise with various departments, including manufacturing, logistics, and quality assurance, to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Analyse business processes and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency in production scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate records of production schedules, changes, and adjustments as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a scheduling role within a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with SAP, EFACS or similar ERP systems is essential for effective scheduling and tracking.
  • Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding production equipment and processes.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively within a team setting.
