The company are an established and market leading manufacturer of plastic component, parts and systems. They are seeking a maintenance engineer / maintenance technician for their operations.

The shift is a weekly rotational 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm - Monday to Friday
Salary is up to 39,000 per annum.
As a maintenance engineer, site engineer or maintenance technician you'll be responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery in industrial settings. You will oversee routine maintenance and organise repairs.
Duties;
- Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods
- Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults
- Diagnose breakdown problems
- Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly
- Liaise with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues
- Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components
Attributes required for the role;
- Electrically qualified (16th, 17th or 18th edition)
- Experience of 3 phase power supply
- Multi skilled - both electrically and mechanically
- Hold a recognised electrical qualification (Minimum NVQ / B-Tec)
- Hold maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
The role is based in the Redditch area so is easily commutable from Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Worcester, Solihull, West Bromwich, Droitwich, Stratford upon Avon.
